Bogus Windows Firewall Alert is peculiar to malwares that belong to Braviax rogue AV group. We’ve counted at least 15 of them so far. These fabricated security applications change their names depending on the type of the operating system installed onto the contaminated workstation. It is peculiar that once the virus is successfully installed the hoax would immediately make all the necessary arrangements to make sure it gets launched automatically each time you then switch your PC on. Then the scareware would perform its main function, i.e. scaring you with its numerous reports regarding various forms, types and sorts of viruses supposedly present on your computer. It would also happen that each time you go to the Internet to find some piece of information (including the data on malware removal) all your such attempts would be blocked by the virus, representing such blockage as some kind of Firewall Alert. In fact, the malware actually names itself as the Firewall. The truth, however, is that the program has nothing good in it (except for the design, probably). All the rest in it does not really make any sense. The tool is not able to detect and then remove real security threats, being the virus itself. So, there is nothing in it to rely upon. If you ever happen to notice this malware inside of your PC then please immediately remove it from your system with all possible means. You may find our how to do it with the help of GridinSoft Trojan Killer in the respective video tutorial below.
